Representatives of the MThA Missionary Department attended a round table on “F.M. Dostoevsky’s works in the context of the history of the XIX century"

On October 19, Archpriest Pavel Velikanov, Associate Professor of the Theology Department at the Moscow Theological Academy, got a Patriarchal award during the Divine Liturgy, which he concelebrated with the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Thomas.

On October 18, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, met with A.V. Lubkov, Rector of the Moscow State Pedagogical University.

On October 16 and 17, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy, performed a Deacon’s ordination and tonsured students of the Academy as Readers.

On October 12, the Moscow Theological Academy hosted an annual Intercession conference. This year it was dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the birth of St. Prince Alexander of Neva.

On October 13, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, and the Metropolitan of Tver and Kashin Ambrose signed an agreement concerning a practical training of students of theological schools.

On October 13 and 14, the Moscow Theological Academy celebrated its patronal holiday, the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos. The festive services were led by the Metropolitan of Tver and Kashin Ambrose.

On October 10, the Palace of Culture named after Yu. A. Gagarin hosted a traditional Open Vocal and Choral Festival of Sacred and Secular Music “Golden Domes”. Among the participants there were representatives of the Moscow Theological Academy.

On October 9 and 10, Archimandrite Platon (Igumnov) officed the All-Night Vigil and Archimandrite Benedict (Knyazev) performed the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church.

On October 8 and 9, the Moscow Theological Academy held divine services in honour of the Apostle John the Theologian and Saint Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

On October 7 and 8, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, performed festive services at the Intercession Academic Church in honour of St. Sergius of Radonezh.

On October 6, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, met with Dr. Thomas Kunze, Head of the Russian office of the Konrad Adenauer’s Foundation.
