Students of the Faculty of Icon Painting and Church Art of the Moscow Theological Academy are taking part in the grant project “Faces of Russian Patron Saints”. The competition is supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
On December 21, 2023, a concert-exam for fourth-year students of the Faculty of Church Singing Arts of the Moscow Theological Academy took place at the Elizabeth Hall.
On December 18, 2023, the Candidate Dissertation Council No. 1 of the Moscow Theological Academy, which joins the departments of Biblical Studies, Theology and Philology (ancient languages) assessed two PhD thesis.
On December 16, 2023, the Moscow Theological Academy introduced educational programs to the undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate levels, as well as applicants for the faculties of church singing and icon painting.
On December 7, 2023, the Educational Committee held the first organizational meeting with representatives of seven higher theological educational institutions in the Moscow region and the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, dedicated to the beginning of the implementation of the pilot project “Memory of the Church”: conversations with witnesses of the Church life in the Soviet era.”
On October 4, 2023, the MThA Department of Biblical Studies held a scientific seminar. The main speaker was Rozalia M. Rupova, Dr. of Philosophy, Associate Professor at the Department of Biblical Studies.
On September 19, 2023, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, attended a meeting of rectors and representatives of higher theological educational institutions of the Moscow region.
