On November 9, on the 145th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexey I, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, officed a memorial service at the Patriarch’s grave in the crypt of the Dormition Cathedral of the Holy Trinity – St. Sergius’s Lavra.

On November 5 and 6, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and performed presbyter’s and deacon ordinations.

On November 4, 2022, on the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the Metropolitan of Krutitsk and Kolomna Pavel ordained Deacon Nikolay Cherepenin into a presbyter at the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin.

On October 26, 2022, the MThA Biblical Studies Department hosted the Community of Teachers and Researchers of the Holy Scripture at the interuniversity scientific seminar the "Soteriological Approach to Biblical Studies". Oleg A. Sukhanov, a senior lecturer of the Academy, led the event.

The publishing house “Pushkin’s House” has released a new book “Archpriest Mikhail Fortunato. Spiritual testament (a spiritual testament to those who serve in the field of liturgical singing in Russia)” by N. G. Denisov, Associate Professor at the MThA Philology Department, who was a main author and a compiler.

On October 23, 2022, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Annunciation Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Convent. After the service His Holiness awarded A.V. Alyoshin, a teacher at the Icon Painting and Church Art Faculty of the Moscow Theological Academy.
