On December 8, the Russian Orthodox Church Holy Synod approved a new structure of the of the Inter-Council Presence Committee on Theology and Theological Education.

On December 7, Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, presented church awards to the MThA staff.

On December 5 and 6 Bishop Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, officed Sunday services at the Seminary Church of St. John the Сlimacus.

On December 6, Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite awarded A.Yu. Ivanov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, with the MThA medal.

On November 27, a presentation of the first issue of a scientific journal "Diacrisis" took place during the conference dedicated to the memory and scientific heritage of A.I. Sidorov, Professor of the Moscow Theological Academy.

On December 3 and 4, solemn services were held in the Pokrovsky Academic Church in honor of the feast of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos. During the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Theodorite performed priestly consecration.

On December 1 and 2, the Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, officed solemn services in honor of the day of St. Philaret, and performed deacon’s ordination.

On December 1, representatives of the Academy took part in a webinar "The presence of religious educational institutions in the information environment" organised by the Russian Orthodox Church Educational Committee.

On November 23, the MThA Department of Theology hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Orthodox Theology: Traditions and Modernity." The conference is dedicated to the memory of academic professors N.K. Gavryushin, A.I. Sidorov, A.T. Kazaryan.

On November 20, the Russian Orthodox Church Holy Synod approved new candidacies for the Inter-Council Presence Committee on Divine Service and Church Art. It included the MThA Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite.

On November 20 and 21, the MThA Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite performed festive services at the Intercession Academic Church on the day of Archangel Michael and other Heavenly Forces.

On November 21, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrates his 40th anniversary. The faculty and teaching corporation, staff and students of the Academy extend their best wishes and sincere congratulations.
