According to the Rector’s order No. 5-k of January 11, 2021, the election of the Head of the Biblical Studies department takes place on March 11, 2021 at the meeting of the Academic Council.

On January 9 and 10, Sunday services took place at the churches of the Moscow Theological Academy. Bishop Theodorite celebrated the Divine Liturgy in a seminary church in honor of the holy great martyrs Barbara, Anastasia and martyr Akilina.

On January 8 and 9, Hieromonk Vyacheslav (Sorokin) officed festive services on the Day of Archdeacon Stephen at the Intercession Academic Church.

On January 7 and 8, the Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite officed services on the feast of the Cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos and performed a deacon's ordination at the Intercession Academic Church.

On January 6 and 7, the Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite led Christmas services at the Intercession Academic Church and performed a deacon’s ordination.

On January 5 and 6, solemn services on the Christmas Eve were held at the Intercession Church of the Moscow Theological Academy. During the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Theodorite performed a deacon’s ordination.

By December 29 Resolution, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill approved Associate Professor and Professor’s ranks for members of the teaching corporation at the Moscow Theological Academy.

On January 2 and 3, Bishop Theodorite officed Sunday services at the Intercession Academic Church and ordained two students into priesthood.

At night on December 31 to January 1, the Academy honored the memory of St. Boniface. The service took place at the Intercession Academic Church.

On December 31, on New Year's Eve, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, officed a New Year prayer service at the Intercession Academic Church.

On December 29, 2020, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill chaired a meeting of the Russian Orthodox Church Holy Synod, which was held in a distance format.

On December 29, the MThA Academic Council gathered in an auditorium №310 for its end of the year meeting.
