On November 20, 2022, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill turned 76. On that day, His Holiness celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral Church of Christ the Savior in Moscow. The Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, concelebrated with His Holiness at the Liturgy.
On November 17, 2022, the All-Russian Scientific Conference «Archaeology is a place, where present meets past» took place at the Elizabethan Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy. The event was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of archaeological practice organized for the Master’s students at the Church History Department of the Moscow Theological Academy.
On November 17, 2022, as part of the International Conference, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, and Sergey M. Nikityuk, Head of the Academy of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service, signed a partnership agreement between two educational institutions.
On November 15, 2022, the Oriental Studies Cabinet of the Moscow Theological Academy headed by Deacon Sergiy Panteleev held an international round table "Egyptian Monasticism: Past and Present". It was attended by historians of Egyptian monasticism and representatives of the Coptic Church and teachers of the Cairo Theological Seminary.
On November 14, E. Yu. Gagarina, General Directorof the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Moscow Kremlin», visited the Moscow Theological Academy. She was met by the Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill and A. S. Novikov, Director of the MThA Museum of Christian Art «Church and Archaeological Cabinet».
On November 12 and 13, on the 22nd Sunday after Pentecost, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy an the Intercession Academic Church and performed presbyter’s and deacon’s ordinations.
On November 8, 2022, the Russian Orthodox Church Publishing Council held an award ceremony of the XVII open competition «Enlightenment through the Book». The Publishing House of the Moscow Theological Academy received a diploma III degree for «The First Russian Empress» by Archimandrite Macarius (Veretennikov), Dr. of Church History.
On November 9, 2022, during a regular meeting of the MThA Dissertation Council No. 2 uniting the departments of Church History, Church-practical Disciplines, Philology, History and Theory of Church Art, two Ph.D. dissertations were successfully defended.
On November 8, 2022, the Russian Orthodox Church Publishing Council held an awarding ceremony for the participants of the XVII book competition «Enlightenment through the book». The first place in the nomination «The first author's book» got the work of Priest Sergiy Churakov, Assistant Dean of the MThA Faculty of Iconography and Church Art.
On November 9, on the 145th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexey I, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, officed a memorial service at the Patriarch’s grave in the crypt of the Dormition Cathedral of the Holy Trinity – St. Sergius’s Lavra.
On November 8, the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church hosted the awarding ceremony for the XVII competition “Enlightenment through the book”. Archpriest Oleg Korytko, Associate Professor at the MThA Theology Department, received a diploma in "The Best Spiritual and Educational Book" nomination for his book “Religions of the world. History of the spiritual search”.
On November 5 and 6, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and performed presbyter’s and deacon ordinations.
