On December 13, 2023, on the memory day of St. Apostle Andrew the First-Called, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church, and ordained Alexey Vedernikov, a first-year Master’s student, into a deacon.

On December 8, 2023, the Philology Department of the Moscow Theological Academy held the All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Hermeneutics of the Christian text in Literature, Language, Art”.

On December 7, 2023, the Educational Committee held the first organizational meeting with representatives of seven higher theological educational institutions in the Moscow region and the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, dedicated to the beginning of the implementation of the pilot project “Memory of the Church”: conversations with witnesses of the Church life in the Soviet era.”

On December 4, 2023, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the day of the Entrance of the Mother of God into the Jerusalem Temple. During the service at the Intercession Academic Church Bishop Kirill was co-served by the academic clergy.

On December 1 and 2, the Academy held festive services at the Intercession Academic Church on the memory day of St. Philaret, Metropolitan of Moscow, a heavenly patron of the Moscow Theological Academy.

On November 30, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill met with the winners of the I and II All-Russian Theology Competitions taken among final year students of theological schools and theological university departments. Ilya Cherkashin represented the Moscow Theological Academy.

On November 27, 2023, the IV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Justinian Readings” took place at the Moscow Theological Academy.

On November 16, 2023, the Faculty of Church Singing Art of the Moscow Academy of Music and the Non-Profit Partnership “Imperial Russian Musical Society” with the support of the Academy of Choral Art named after V.S. Popov presented the project “Russian Performing Arts: a Constellation of Young Masters” at the Moscow Theological Academy.

On November 21, 2023, the clergy, teachers and students of the Moscow Theological Academy celebrated the memory of Michael the Archangel and all Heavenly Powers at the Intercession Academic Church.

November 16, 2023, within the framework of the VI Professorial Forum “Science and education as the basis for the development of Russia. Personnel for an Innovative Economy”, a scientific section “Theology in Education: Unity of Aim, Relevance of Tasks, Accuracy of Emphasis” headed by the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, took place at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

The Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Abbot of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra and the Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, congratulated His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill on his birthday.

On November 16, the Faculty of Church Singing Arts of the Moscow Theological Academy held a methodological meeting.
