The Moscow Theological Academy (MThA) Publishing House has completed its work on the 2024 issues of "Praxis", the academic journal of the MThA Department of Church-Practical Disciplines.

On July 18 and 19, 2025, the fourth meeting of the Working Group for Bilateral Relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church took place at the Moscow Theological Academy.

The Moscow Theological Academy Publishing House has released the fourth issue for 2024 of the academic journal "Biblical Scholia," published by the Department of Biblical Studies. This is the ninth issue in the journal's overall numbering.

On July 19, 2025, in the Elizaveta Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy (MThA), Rector Bishop Kirill of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov met with participants of the Commonwealth of Orthodox Youth.

On July 17 and 18, 2025, on the feast of the uncovering of the venerable relics of St. Sergius, Abbot of Radonezh, festive archpastoral services were held in the Intercession Church of the Moscow Theological Academy (MThA). A council of hierarchs of the Russian Church was concelebrated by professors and students of the Academy in priestly rank.

On July 16, 2025, an evening dedicated to the memory of Archimandrite Vladimir (Kucheryavy) and the presentation of his book took place at the Moscow Theological Academy.

From July 13 to 15, 2025, the Moscow Theological Academy held entrance exams for applicants to the Faculty of Church Music.

From July 8 to 14, entrance examinations for the postgraduate program were held at the Moscow Theological Academy.

From July 7 to 11, the Academy conducted entrance examinations for its bachelor's degree program.

From July 4 to 7, entrance exams for the bachelor's and master's programs took place at the Moscow Theological Academy's Distance Learning Department.

As part of the project "Orthodox Culture in World Civilization", which began in 2024, scholars from Moscow State University (MSU) have created a mobile app for virtual tours of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra and the Moscow Theological Academy.

From July 1 to 3, entrance exams for the master's program were held at the Moscow Theological Academy.
