On August 27 and 28, 2023, the Moscow Theological Academy held festive services on the Assumption of the Mother of God. Archimandrite Hilarion (Forkavets) officiated the All-Night Vigil and Archimandrite Venedikt (Knyazev) performed the Divine Liturgy.

On August 24, 2023, during the meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, a new group of the Synodal Biblical and Theological Commitee was composed. The Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, and Hegumen Dionysiy (Shlyonov), Head of the Postgraduate school of the Academy, became members of the group.

On August 24, 2023, at the meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, was appointed as the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov, Abbot of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra.

On August 18 and 19, 2023, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, officiated festive services on the Transfiguration of the Lord at the Intercession Academic Church and a diaconal ordination.

On August 13 and 14, 2023, Archimandrite Hilarion (Farkovets) officiated an All-Night Vigil and the Divine Liturgy on the Procession of the Venerable and Life-giving Cross co-served by the academic clergy at the Intercession Academic Church.

On July 31 and August 1, 2023, Archimandrite Hilarion (Forkavets) officiated festive services in honor of the uncovering of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov at the Intercession Academic Church.

On August 1, 2023, on the memory day of St. Seraphim of Sarov, the Academy held a funeral service of Associate Professor Anatoly A. Matveev at the Intercession Church of the Moscow Theological Academy.

The Department of Theory and History of Church Art of the Moscow Theological Academy has published a new 2023 issue of the academic journal «The Church Art and Archeology Bulletin».

On July 20 and 21, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy. Archimandrite Venedikt (Knyazev) officiated an All-night vigil at the Intercession Academic Church.

On July 17 and 18, 2023, the Moscow Theological Academy held festive services on the day of uncovering the holy relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh.

On July 16, 2023, Archimandrite Venedikt (Knyazev) officiated festive services on the 6th Sunday after Pentecost co-served by the academic clergy.
