A new scientific journal “Theologian” created within the framework of the “Theologians of Russia” project was included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), a bibliographic database of scientific publications of Russian scientists and a citation index of scientific articles.

On April 14, 2024, on the fourth Sunday of the Great Lent, Bishop Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the festive Divine Liturgy in honor of St. John the Climacus, patronal saint of the seminary church. During the service, Bishop Kirill performed the priestly ordination of a graduate student of the Academy and tonsured some students of the theological school as readers.

On April 6 and 7, 2024, the Veneration of the Cross Week, Sunday services took place at the Intercession Church of the Moscow Theological Academy in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

On March 24, 2024, the Week of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, Bishop Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church and offered prayers to the Lord for those, who were injured and innocently killed during the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk.

On March 22, 2024, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Abbot of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra and Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, met with the soldiers, who were injured at the SVO actions, in the Elizabeth Hall of the Academy.
