The Publishing House of the Moscow Theological Academy has released the 2nd issue of the journal of the Theology Department of MThA, "Questions of Theology" (Voprosy Bogoslovia) for 2024, the 12th in the overall series.

On March 9, 2025, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, a delegation from the Malankara Church visited the Trinity Monastery and the Moscow Theological Academy (MThA). During the visit, the guests attended a divine service at the Intercession Academic Church and met with the abbot of the monastery and rector of the Academy Bishop Kirill.

On January 28 and 29, 2025, the IX International Scientific Conference «Problems of Preserving Church Art» was held within the framework of the XXXIII International Christmas educational readings, dedicated to the «80th anniversary of the Great Victory: memory and spiritual experience of generations».

On February 9, at the Refectory Church of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill performed the diaconal ordination at the Liturgy.

On February 6, 2025, students of the Moscow Theological Academy met with priest Feodor Lukyanov, Chairman of the Patriarchal Committee on Family Issues, Protection of Motherhood and Childhood, Archpriest Nikolai Sokolov, Professor of the Orthodox St. Tikhon’s Humanitarian University, and G.F. Sokolova, Priest Theodore Sokolov’s wife.

On February 6, 2025, the regular meeting of the MThA Dissertation Council No. 2 united the departments of Church History, Church Practical Disciplines, Philology, History and Theory of Church Art, took place. As part of the work of the Dissertation Council, two candidate dissertations were successfully defended.

On February 3, 2025, the Moscow Theological Academy had an Open Door Day to introduce future applicants its educational programs at the undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate levels, as well as at the faculties of Church singing and Icon painting.

On February 1, 2025, Archimandrite Luke (Golovkov) celebrated festive divine services on the 16th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill athe the Intercession Academic Church.

On January 24, 2025, in an assembly hall of the Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church, the director of the MThA Museum A.S. Novikov and a curator of the exhibition E.L. Lisovskaya presented the museum website to the heads of icon painting departments of Russian educational institutions.

On January 18, 2025, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, performed festive services on the Epiphany Eve co-served by the academic clergy.

On January 15, 2025, on the 50th anniversary of the death of MThA Professor Archpriest Alexy Ostapov, the Academy honored his memory.

Children's Christmas trees were organized by the Moscow Theological Academy.
