A meeting of the Academic Council and the Professorial and Teaching Corporation of the Moscow Theological Academy

On July 1, 2022, a meeting of the Academic Council and the Professorial and Teaching Corporation took place in the Small Assembly Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy.

As part of the meeting the Academic Council hold a competition for occupying full-time teachings posts, Professors and Associate professors titles. The results will be sent to the Nomination Expert Group of the Russian Orthodox Church Educational Committee and approved by His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.

The Academic Council elected the following as honorary members of the Moscow Theological Academy:

• The Metropolitan of Tver and Kashin Ambrose (Yermakov);
• The Bishop of Skopinsk and Shatsk Pitirim (Tvorogov);
• The Bishop of Zaraisk Konstantin (Ostrovsky).

The general meeting of the professorial and teaching corporation heard annual reports given by the Rector, Vice-rectors, Deans of faculties and Heads of departments.

The rector and members of the faculty corporation cordially greeted Archimandrite Luka (Golovkov), Associate Professor, Dean of the Icon Painting and Church Art Faculty, on his 60th annversary.

Also, they expressed their best wishes and sincere congratulations to Svetlana A. Serafimovich, a teacher at the Church singing art faculty, on her anniversary.
