On January 13 and 14, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, officed an all-night vigil and the Divine Liturgy on the feast of the Circumcision of the Lord and on the Day of St. Basil the Great.
On January 12, 2021, Metropolitan Philaret (Vakhromeev), an honorary member of the Moscow Theological Academy, passed away to the Lord. The Rector, teachers and students of the Academy gathered for a common funeral service to pray for the newly departed.

On December 31, on New Year's Eve, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, officed a New Year prayer service at the Intercession Academic Church.
