The "Theological Herald" is the main academic theological journal of the Moscow Theological Academy. This is a periodical specializing in the publication of academic research of a large group of specialties contained in the state standard of 48.00.00 "Theology". The journal has been published by the Moscow Theological Academy since 1892 with a break from 1919 to 1992. Publication was resumed in 1993. Since 2016, the Theological Herald has been published on a permanent basis, publishing materials on a wide range of issues in the field of theology, history of the Christian Church, history of philosophy and religious studies. Each issue publishes reviews of the latest academic literature published in Russia and abroad.
The "Theological Herald" is a mass medium intended for the publication of works in certain academic fields developed by the MThA. Among the works published are the main results of dissertation research for the degree of doctor and candidate for doctor's degree. The journal also contains original material that is of interest to the socio-humanitarian science and has theoretical and practical importance.
The journal is published four times a year with a total volume of 1200 pages.
The "Theological Herald" is included in the List of reviewed academic publications by the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on April 20, 2018.
The "Theological Herald" is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). The journal articles are considered in the authors' rating as publications in a peer-reviewed journal with a non-zero impact factor.
RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index) indexes all Theological Herald publications since 1993 and is available for free download in pdf format on the Scientific Electronic Library (SEL) website - eLIBRARY.RU

The last issue was 31 by total numbering. Currently, work on the issue 32 is under way, the first of the 2019 issues.
The volume of an article or publication should preferably be with the range of 25 thousand to 40 thousand characters.
In addition to the main text, the article should contain an abstract (at least 150 words) and keywords in Russian and English.
