Educational Committee Inspection Concludes

From March 2 to 4, 2026, a scheduled inspection by the Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church took place at the Moscow Theological Academy. 

The inspection team, led by the Chairman of the Educational Committee Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, included First Deputy Chairman Hieromonk Apollinary (Panin) and committee specialists: I.I. Nikishov, N.N. Svoks, P.A. Leskin, and T.N. Grigorieva.

Over the course of three days, the commission attended undergraduate and graduate classes of the Faculty of Theology and Pastoral Care, reviewed regulatory documentation, and conducted an assessment of the residual knowledge of final-year Master's students. 

Archpriest Maxim also held a meeting with MThA postgraduate students. 

The commission concluded its work on March 4 with a meeting between the Chairman of the Educational Committee, Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, and the Rector, Bishop Kirill of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov, along with the Academy administration.
