The Academy prayerfully glorified St. Seraphim of Sarov

During this festive period between Christmas and the Epiphany, the Church is filled with joy and jubilation. This is how Christ manifests Himself in people’s hearts.

«I am with you always, even to the end of the age» (Mat. 28, 20), said Christ. The Christian heart feels His presence and sees His amazing providence in a life of the Church and the whole world. Christ especially reflects in saints. St. Seraphim of Sarov is one of them, and his memory we are glorifying today.

Contemporaries of the saint mentioned the joy, which overflowed his heart and radiated from him. They wondered what made him so happy?

Undoubtedly, this joy roots in Christ, Who defeated the death. Living with Christ people share this victory, so did St. Seraphim. He greeted his visitors saying “Christ is Risen!”.
