The MThA graduates of 1990 officed divine services at the Intercession Academic Church

On October 19, the memory day of saint martyrs Sergius and Bacchus, the Archbishop of Abakan and Khakass Joanathan together with other graduates of 1990 sang the Akathist to the Mother of God and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church.

Among the graduates, there was are Archimandrite Gleb (Kozhevnikov), a teacher of the Moscow Theological Academy, Hegumen Vsevolod (Varyushchenko), a cleric of St. Barbara Church at the Patriarchal Metochion in Zaryadye, Archpriest Nikolay Divakov, a cleric at the Tikhvin Icon Church in Alekseevskoye.

On October 20, the Archbishop of Abakan and Khakass Joanathan celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church co-served by the graduates in the priesthood. They raised joint prayers to ask the Lord for His grace and help in their upcoming service.

After the Liturgy, the graduates venerated the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the Trinity Cathedral of the Lavra.

In the crypt of the Dormition Cathedral, Archbishop Joanathan officed a memorial service for the repose of Patriarch Pimen. After that, they performed one more funeral service for the deceased teachers and mentors of the Academy.
