Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov Hosts a Musical-Poetic Evening at the MThA

On February 1, 2026, the Great Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy held a musical-poetic evening "O My Rus!", led by the well-known preacher, senior-level educator, member of the Union of Writers of Russia, and rector of the Holy Trinity Church at Shabolovka in Moscow, Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov.

The event was entirely dedicated to the Russian patriotic idea and was permeated with a profound love for the Motherland. In the literary part of the program, Father Artemy addressed the audience with a poignant poetic narrative. His monologues and poems, filled with wise moral reflection, were dedicated to key events, periods, and figures in Russian history. The pastor paid special attention to the image of Russia as a country inextricably linked with faith in Divine Providence.

The musical portion of the evening was performed by the piano duo of Marta and Dmitry Banaev. They played excerpts from works by great Russian composers, including P.I. Tchaikovsky, A.K. Glazunov, M.P. Mussorgsky, and S.V. Rachmaninoff.

The meeting gathered a large audience: guests of the Trinity Monastery and the Academy, faculty, students, and staff of the theological school, as well as all those who cherish the spiritual and cultural traditions of Russia.
