Entrance Master’s exams at the Academy
On July 5 and 6, 2023, entrance exams to Master's studies took place at the Moscow Theological Academy.
Entrance examinations were held in a face-to-face format. Applicants graduated from the MThA Bachelor's program had an interview with teachers of the departments. Those, who applied from external educational institutions met via Zoom.
On July 5, applicants took exams in the following profiles of the Master's program: Patrology and Christian Literature, Orthodox Theology, Modern Christian History, Pastoral care and Liturgy, Modern Canon Law, Biblical Studies, Russian Spiritual Literature, History and Theory of Church Art.
On the same day, teachers of the Academy assessed applicants’ knowledge on ancient (Ancient Greek, Latin) and modern (English, German and French) languages.
On July 6, applicants were interviewed by the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, Hieromonk Vyacheslav (Sorokin), Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Hieromonk Kassian (Ploskiy), Senior Assistant Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Hieromonk Georgy (Pimenov), Deputy Dean of the Theological and Pastoral Faculty.
