The Academy hosted a chamber music concert "From Italy with Love"

On September 23, a chamber music concert "From Italy with Love" took place in the Elizabethan Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy. The “Duo Perfetto” from Sardinia presented an extensive and rather unusual mixture of Italian classical masterpieces such as Antonio Vivaldi, Gioachino Rossini, eminent Argentine composers of the 20th century like Astor Piazzolla and Jose Bragato (Italian by origin) as well as Ennio Morricone and others.

The duet consists of a German cellist Robert Witt, a soloist and a concertmaster of a cello group at the Opera Theater Lirico in Cagliari (Sardinia), and an Italian pianist Perfetto, Professor at the Pierluigi da Palestrina Conservatory in Cagliari. They are winners of several international competitions, including the prestigious TIM international chamber music competition (1st place in all 5 rounds). Since 2015, they have repeatedly appeared live on the national Italian radio and television RAI 3, released several albums and successfully toured around Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Argentina. This year, their dream to perform in Russia came true.

High music skills and the mesmerizing touch of the instrument created a magic atmosphere of that music evening. Professional performance and excellent interpretation of the music works deeply touched the hearts of the audience and aroused prolonged applause.
