Students of the Faculty of Icon Painting and Church Art taking part in the project “Faces of Russian Patron Saints”

Students of the Faculty of Icon Painting and Church Art of the Moscow Theological Academy are taking part in the grant project “Faces of Russian Patron Saints”.

As part of the first stage of the competition, students make icons of saint Russian warriors, who safeguarded our Fatherland.

Then students' works will be presented at the exhibition at the Museum of Christian Art "Church and Archaeological Cabinet" of the Moscow Theological Academy.

The best items will take part in a church-wide competition and exhibition of creative works by students and teachers of icon painting departments.

The project “Faces of Russian Patron Saints” is supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
