Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy participated in signing a Cooperation Agreement between the Church Educational Committee and the Higher Attestation Commission
On February 4, the Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Federal Higher Attestation Commission signed a Cooperation Agreement. Anzor Akhmedovich Muzaev, Head of the Higher Attestation Commission and Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, Chairman of the Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church, represented the parties.
The agreement provides new opportunities for joint projects in the development of educational activities in the Russian Federation.

“It is important for the Higher Attestation Commission to be in contact with such institutions. The quality of work can be reached only by specialists from the same professional community. An independent assessment by the Study Committee will be an important element in our objective decision-making wile licensing educational organisations” — said Anzor Muzaev.
По его словам, помощь Учебного комитета РПЦ важна Рособрнадзору, чтобы получать объективную экспертную оценку преподавания в вузах дисциплин, связанных с Православием.
“The signing of the agreement is an important milestone in the development of church-state interaction in the field of higher education. Now we have to deal with two important task of adequately assessing the theological educational institutions of the Russian Orthodox Church and giving advice in implementing elements of theological education in state universities,” — noted Archpriest Maxim Kozlov.
The participants thanked each other for the high level of mutual understanding and noted the significant amount of work done.
