MThA Rector Bishop Kirill Ordains Academy Students To Sacred Orders
On April 7, 2026, on Great Tuesday and the feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, Bishop Kirill of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Church in the village of Obukhovo, Solnechnogorsk district.
His Grace was concelebrated by Archpriest Ioann Monarshek, Secretary of the Sergiev Posad Diocesan Administration and Dean of the Ivanteevka Church District; Archpriest Antony Tirkov, Dean of the Solnechnogorsk Church District; Priest Vladimir Dudyrev, Rector of the Assumption Church in Obukhovo; and the clergy of the Solnechnogorsk Deanery.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Holy Trinity-Sergius Lavra under the direction of Hieromonk Nestor (Volkov).
E.A. Mashkovtsev, Deputy Head of the Solnechnogorsk district, was present at the service.
During the Little Entrance, several clerics of the Solnechnogorsk Deanery received liturgical and hierarchical awards.

During the Liturgy, the Bishop ordained Deacon Alexander Fedorov, a student of the Moscow Theological Academy, to the rank of presbyter, and Reader Andrey Kiselyuk, a student of the Moscow Theological Academy, to the rank of deacon.

The sermon following the Communion verse was delivered by Priest Dimitry Poleshchuk, Rector of the Savior Church in the village of Andreevka and the St. George Church in the village of Goluboye.
At the conclusion of the service, the Rector of the Assumption Church, Priest Vladimir Dudyrev, welcomed Bishop Kirill and presented him with a commemorative gift from the parish - a panagia depicting the Resurrection of Christ.
The Bishop then addressed the congregation with an archpastoral word.
