Vice-Rector for educational work performed a funeral service at the grave of five students perished in a fire

On September 28, Hieromonk Vyacheslav (Sorokin), MThA Vice-Rector for educational work, with the blessing of the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, MThA Rector, performed a funeral service at the Annunciation Cemetery of Sergiev Posad at the grave of five students perished in a fire.

On the same day in the evening, students of the icon-painting faculty of the Academy led by the faculty Dean archimandrite Luka (Golovkov) visited the cemetery and prayed at the graves of Professor N.K. Gavryushin, Archdeacon Roman (Tamberg), Assistant Head of the icon-painting school, and five students who died in a fire in 1986.
