Representatives of the MThA administration took part in a meeting of the Study Committee
On November 9, Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, the Chairman of the Study, chaired a joint meeting held by the Russian Orthodox Church Study Committee. This online session aimed to develop inter-connection between theological schools of the Moscow region.
The Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Hieromonk Vyacheslav (Sorokin), Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Priest Pavel Lizgunov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Archpriest Alexander Zadornov, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Theological Work, represented the Moscow Theological Academy.
Archpriest Maxim Kozlov greeted the participants and moved to a series of tasks facing the Moscow region theological schools which aroused a lively discussion.
D.V. Makarov gave a report on improving the quality of scientific work.
O.A. Sukhanov, Teacher of the Moscow Theological Academy a member of the Academic Committee, gave a report on improving the quality of educational work.
N.V. Leontyev, Head of the Control and Analytical department at the Study Committee, gave a report on improving educational and methodological documentation.
Archpriest Alexander Troitsky, Deputy Chairman of the Study Committee, Director of the Synodal Library, made a presentation on the interaction between the libraries at theological institutions in the Moscow region and the Synodal Library.
Rector and members of other theological schools of the Moscow region also made reports and proposals regarding interconnection.
In the end, the participants summed up the results and scheduled the next meeting.
