A book by Archpriest Oleg Korytko, Associate Professor of the Moscow Theological Academy, won a book prize

On November 8, the Metropolitan of Kaluga and Borovsk Kliment headed an awarding ceremony for the XVII competition "Enlightenment through the book" held by the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The book “Religions of the world. History of the spiritual search” by Archpriest Oleg Korytko, Associate Professor at the Theology Department of the Moscow Theological Academy, published by “Nikea” publishing house in 2022 got a diploma II degree in the nomination “The Best Spiritual and Educational Book”.

The book describes ancient beliefs of the Middle East, Ancient Rome and Greece, some spiritual traditions of the Far East and India, as well as Abrahamic religions such as Judaism and Islam. It is designed for a wide audience and helps to get an idea how ​​ basic religious ideas developed that makes the correlation between Christianity and other spiritual traditions clearer.
