The Department of History and Theory of Church Art held an open meeting.
On December 14, the Department of History and Theory of Church Art at the Moscow Academy held an online open meeting chaired by Professor N.V. Kvlividze, Head of the Department. The event was attended by Archpriest Alexander Zadornov, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Theological Work of the Moscow Theological Academy, as well as representatives from other departments.

Также в заседании приняли участие преподаватели, аспиранты и студенты кафедры ИТЦИ, представители других кафедр, а также все интересующиеся научной жизнью кафедры гости.
Nina Valerievna opened the meeting with a report on main scientific achievements made in 2020 and presented some plans for 2021.
Professor O. R. Khromov, Head of the History and Theory of Church Art profile, in his speech outlined the main directions for the department’s development. He paid special attention to publishing activity and the close cooperation of teachers, graduate students and students of the department with a museum of the Moscow Theological Academy "Church-Archaeological Cabinet".
Graduate students and students help to study a museum collection. There is a number of thesis and qualification works related to it. Oleg Rostislavovich added that students also take an active part in preparing joint exhibitions and conferences with the academic museum and the Central Museum of Ancient Russian Culture and Art named after St. Andrei Rublev.
The moderator of the event was I.M. Zubrenko, Researcher, Methodologist and Senior lecturer of the department.
