Bishop Pitirim served together with the Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Russian Partiarch

On November 21st, Day of Archangel Michel and All Angels and God's Powers, His Beatitude Theofilos III, Patriarch of Jerusalem and His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, performed the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

The Rector of Moscow Theological Academy Pitirim, the Bishop of Zvenigorod served together with the head-hierarchs in the huge throng of bishops.

The service was performed in Church-Slavonic and Greek languages. The profound praise was given for the perfect unity of the Orthodox church and its protection from different divisions and splits. Before giving the Holy Communion Andrey Ovchinnikov, priest of a church in honour of St. Nicolas the Wondermaker in Chamovniky, Moscow, said a sermon.

After the service His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia addressed His Beatitude Theofilos III and the assembly.
