Bishop Theodorite met with the representative of the Konrad Adenauer’s Foundation

On October 6, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, met with Dr. Thomas Kunze, Head of the Russian office of the Konrad Adenauer’s Foundation.

The meeting was also attended by A.V. Zybkin, Producer of A.S. Radyvanyuk’s Foundation, and Deacon Dimitri Serov, Director of the publishing house, Vice-rector for Foreign Affairs.

Bishop Theodorite greeted representatives of a large international fund within the walls of the oldest theological educational institution of the Russian Orthodox Church.

At the meeting, they recalled a co-working experience between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Konrad Adenauer’s Foundation for previous decades, as well as a wide range of other current issues.

At the end, the Rector gave the guests a tour round the Academy and presented them with memorable gifts.

The Russian Orthodox Church and the Konrad Adenauer’s Foundation have been in touch for many years. The Foundation supports conferences and scholarly editions of the Moscow Patriarchate. It also provides scholarships for studying and scientific researches in Germany.
