Bishop Theodorite met with the Rector of the Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry named after S.G. Stroganov

On October 22, S.V. Kurasov, Rector of the Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry named after V.I. Stroganov (MSAAI), visited the Moscow Theological Academy and met with the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite at the initiative of the academic Far Eastern Center.

They discussed some ways of cooperation between two higher Russian educational institutions and a possibility of students exchange. The Rector of the Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry suggested preparing for the 200th anniversary of his Alma Mater in 2024 within the framework of the state funding program and activities of the MSAAI Academic Council.

Hieromonk Seraphim (Petrovsky), Head of the Far Eastern Center (FEC) attended the meeting.

S.V. Kurasov accompanied by Hieromonk Seraphim and an academic teacher S.A. Eryshev visited the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius’s Lavra and venerated the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
