Bishop Theodorite took part in the celebrations of the Festive Day of the Perervin Theological Seminary

On October 26, on the day of honour of the Iberian Icon of the Mother of God, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, took part in the celebration of the Iberian Cathedral and the Festive Day of the Perervin Theological Seminary. 

The Metropolitan of Voskresensk Dionysius, Executive Secretary of the Moscow Patriarchate, arrived to take part in celebrations.

Before the Liturgy, Bishop Theodorite blessed the last year students of the Perervin Seminary to wear cassocks and then Metropolitan Dionysius ordained them into readers.

Metropolitan Dionysius and Bishop Theodorite performed the Divine Liturgy together with Hieromonk Apollinarius (Panin), Rector of the Perervin Theological Seminary, and ordained seminarian teachers and guests.

At the end of the service, Metropolitan Dionysius and Bishop Theodorite greeted an assembly. 

During the festive ceremony, Bishop Theodorite congratulated the Rector Hieromonk Apollinarius, teachers and students on their Festive Day.

Митрополит Дионисий вручил награды преподавателям, сотрудникам и гостям семинарии. Во внимание к трудам на благо Перервинской духовной семинарии ректор МДА епископ Звенигородский Феодорит награжден памятной медалью митрополита Платона (Левшина).
