Bishop Theodorite visited the St. Petersburg Theological Academy

On May 31, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, visited the St. Petersburg Theological Academy as a part of an official visit.

The Bishop of Peterhof Siluan, Rector of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, met the guest and took him round an academic church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian.

After that, Bishop Theodorite could venerate the miraculous icon of the Mother of God "The Sign" and look at the academic library, which consists of both rare editions and recently published books and magazines in foreign languages.

Then, Bishop Theodorite took part in a meeting with the Bishop of Peterhof Siluan, Rector of the SPbThA, Elena Mikhailovna Gundyaeva, Vice-Rector for Culture, Dean of the Church Art Faculty, and Anna Petrovna Sologub, Assistant Vice-Rector for Culture. During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between two theological schools beneficial the development of Church singing art.

After the meeting, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite congratulated Elena Mikhailovna Gundyaeva, Vice-Rector for Culture, Dean of the Church Art Faculty, on approaching of her name day.
