MThA Department Of Theology Center For The Study Of Patristics And Christian Antiquity To Hold Fourth International Conference Dedicated To The Anniversary Of The Councils Of Ephesus (431) And Chalcedon (451)

The "Center for the Study of Patristics and Christian Antiquity" of the Department of Theology of the Moscow Theological Academy is holding the fourth international scientific and theological conference dedicated to the 1595th anniversary of the Council of Ephesus (431) and the 1575th anniversary of the Council of Chalcedon (451). The theme of the conference is "The Councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon: History and Christological Issues".

The event is scheduled for May 18 (Monday), 2026. The venue is the Great Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy.

The start is at 10:30 Moscow time.

Presentation time is 20 minutes, with 5 minutes for discussion.

The conference has a hybrid (in-person and remote) format.
