On October 30 Archimandrite Luka officed an evening service at the Intercession Academic Church. On October 31 students and graduates of the Icon-painting faculty gathered at the Divine Liturgy.
After the Liturgy, Archpriest Sergiy Zabelich greeted Archimandrite Luka on behalf of the MThA teachers and students and presented him a bunch of flowers.
On November 1, after the Sunday Divine Liturgy, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, greeted Archimandrite Luka on his name-day and presented him an embroidered sacerdotal set.
Background information:
Chanting at the evening service performed by a male choir sang under the conduct of Hieromonk Nestor (Volkov). A joint choir of students and graduates of the Icon-painting faculty led by Ksenia Vakhrusheva sang at the Divine Liturgy.
