The Academy celebrated the Entrance of the Mother of God into the Temple
On December 4, 2023, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the day of the Entrance of the Mother of God into the Jerusalem Temple. During the service at the Intercession Academic Church Bishop Kirill was co-served by the academic clergy.

Bishop Kirill performed the presbyter’s ordination at the Sunday Liturgy
On November 12, 2023, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Abbot of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius’s Lavra and Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral of the Lavra and performed the presbyter’s ordination of a student of the Academy.

The Academy accepted relics of Hieromartyr Plato, Bishop of Banyaluksk as a gift from the Serbian Church
On November 5, 2023, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill and His Holiness Patriarch of Serbia Porfiry, at the Sunday service the Bishop of Moravia Anthony and the Bishop of Marchansk Savva gave to the Moscow Theological Academy a particle of the relics of Hieromartyr Plato, Bishop of Banyaluksky, who was a graduate of Academy in 1901.
