Bishop Theodorite performed the presbyter's and deacon's ordinations

В Неделю 23-ю по Пятидесятнице в Московской духовной академии прошли воскресные богослужения.

On November 14, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite officed an all-night vigil at the Intercession academic church. During the reading of a canon, Bishop Theodorite ordained Artemiy Derizemlya, a second-year Master student, into a subdeacon.

On November 15, Bishop Theodorite celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the academic church. After reading the Holy Gospel, he addressed an assembly with his archpastoral word.

At the funeral praying, Deacon Dimitri Maslov proclaimed a petition for victims of road accidents.

After the Cherubic Song, Bishop Theodorite ordained Deacon John Zagumenov, a first-year Master student of the Sretensky Theological Seminary, into a presbyter.

At the end of the Eucharistic Canon, he ordained Subdeacon Artemy Derizemlya into a deacon.

Before the Holy Communion, Hegumen Adrian (Pashin) gave a sermon, in which he spoke about martyrs Akindinos, Pigasias, Affonia, Elpidiforos, Anempodistos and a feat of martyrs as a foundation of the Church.

At the end of the service, Bishop Theodorite greeted Hegumen Dionisy (Shlyonov), Director of the MThA Library, on his birthday and presented him an epitrachelion and armlets.
