New Issue of "Biblical Scholia" Journal Has Been Published

В Издательстве Московской духовной академии опубликован второй выпуск научного журнала кафедры библеистики «Библейские схолии» за 2024 год, седьмой в общей нумерации.

"Biblical Scholia" is a journal created by the Department of Biblical Studies at the Moscow Theological Academy. The publication aims to provide a comprehensive study of the Old and New Testaments, including philology, archaeology, theology, exegesis, hermeneutics, and other biblical disciplines. The journal's main goal is to introduce readers to current issues in contemporary biblical studies, as well as to the legacy of the Russian pre-revolutionary biblical school, which is considered a golden fund of national scholarship.

The editor-in-chief of the academic journal is Archpriest Alexander Timofeev, head of the MThA Biblical Cabinet and senior lecturer in the Department of Biblical Studies. 

The current issue includes the following articles:

Old Testament Studies

New Testament Studies

«Проблема датировки Тайной Вечери» — священник Максим Титов, протоиерей Дмитрий Усольцев.

«Исторический контекст и политические мотивации казни Иоанна Крестителя» — монахиня Александра (Мушкетова).

Святоотеческая экзегетика

«Тропологический анализ кн. прор. Иеремии в святоотеческой мысли» — иеромонах Николай (Павлов).

Экзегетика Священного Писания

«Тема воскресения в 1-м послании апостола Павла к Коринфянам (1 Кор. 15, 1–58): богословско-экзегетический комментарий» — диакон Дмитрий Худалеев.

Современная библеистика

«Оценка модели Биргера Герхардссона в контексте современных библейских исследований» — М. В. Ковшов, священник Алексий Башкатов.
