The MThA graduates of 2012 celebrated the Divine Liturgy

There is a tradition that graduates of the Moscow Theological Academy gather every 10th anniversary of their graduation at the Divine Liturgy and recall years spent within the walls of the theological school.

On July 26, 2022, Hieromonk Vyacheslav (Sorokin), Vice-Rector for Educational Work of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church co-served by graduates of 2012.

As a gift to the Academy, the graduates presents liturgical covers with a dedicatory commemorative inscription.

At the end of the Liturgy, they served a funeral service for the deceased teachers and students of the Moscow Theological Academy at the academic necropolis and performed a prayer service at the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the Trinity Cathedral.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary, the graduates planted a tree in a yard of a student’s residence.
