Final assessment of postgraduate graduates at the Moscow Theological Academy

Postgraduate students of the Moscow Theological Academy took their final state assessment. It included two stages aimed to check knowledge, skills and abilities acquired by students at the course.

Overall, twenty-six students took part in final examinations. There were 14 full-time graduate students and 12 part-time students. Members of three examination committees chosen and chaired by an external representative of the Russian Orthodox Church Educational Committee and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. This year, they were Archpriest Pavel Khondzinsky, Hegumen Peter (Eremeev) and N.Yu. Sukhov.

The assessment included a state exam, a scientific report as well as a test of basic scientific and pedagogical skills.

Each graduate presented both their educational and methodological researches in work programs of disciplines and evaluation scales. The main part consisted of a scientific report on the PhD thesis.
