Bishop Kirill officiated a funeral service at the tomb of Archimandrite Kirill (Pavlov)

Archimandrite Kirill (Pavlov) is one of the most revered spiritual elders of the Russian Orthodox Church of our times. His humility and the purity of soul allowed him to become a faithful guide not only for brethren of the Holy Trinity – St. Sergius Lavra, His Holiness Patriarch Alexy I, Pimen and Alexy II, many bishops, priests and laity of the Russian Orthodox Church.

On February 20, 2017, Archimandrite Kirill reposed in the Lord, and his body was buried behind the Church of the Holy Spirit in the Holy Trinity – St. Sergius Lavra.

On June 22, 2023, on a memory day of St. Kirill of Belozersk, a patron saint of Archimandrite Kirill (Pavlov), the MThA Rector officiated a funeral service at his tomb.
