Items from the MThA Museum collection exhibited in St. Petersburg

On January 28, 2023, the exhibition «Spiritual Bridge between Two Capitals» was opened at the exhibition center named after St. Sergius of Radonezh in the Sergievskiy Municipal District, St. Petersburg.

At the opening ceremony, Archpriest Alexander Budnikov, Dean of the Vyborg District, officiated a prayer service co-served by the clergy of the St. Petersburg diocese.

The event was attended by guests from Moscow and St. Petersburg. It was also covered by secular and Orthodox media.

The XIV century ecclesiastical vessels, provided by the Museum of the Moscow Theological Academy «Church-Archaeological Cabinet», became the center of exhibition. 

They were displayed in a special climate showcase, which maintains the required temperature and humidity level. 

The exhibition is opened for visitors daily until 30 April, except Monday and Tuesday, from 12:00 to 15:00 at the Esenina St., 30, the exhibition center named after St. Sergius of Radonezh.
