On Friday of the first week of the Great Lent, Bishop Theodorite concelebrated with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow

On March 11, Friday of the first week of the Great Lent, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill officed Lenten Matins, Hours, Pictorials and celebrated the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.

The Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, were among the clergy co-serving His Holiness.

After the litany, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church prayed for peace. According to the Patriarch’s blessing, a special prayer will be read in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church.
