Meeting of the Academic Council of the Moscow Theological Academy

On June 27, 2023, an expanded meeting of the Academic Council took place in the Elizabethan Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy.

The meeting was held in a mixed format both in person and via Zoom platform.

At the meeting, a competition for the employment of full-time pedagogical positions took place. The results of the competition will be sent to the Nomination Board of the Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church and approved by His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill.

Candidates for an academic title of Associate Professor were selected. Candidate documents will be sent to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The Academic Council listened to annual reports made by the Rector, Vice-rectors, Deans of faculties and Heads of departments. Recommendations for doctoral studies were given to three academic teachers.

The Rector presented a Professor's diploma to Vladimir Mikhailovich Kirillin and an Associate Professor's diploma to Hegumen Gerasim (Dyachkov).

Nest meeting of the Academic Council is scheduled on August 31, 2023.
