The Moscow Theological Academy passed the Educational Committee inspection

From November 26 to November 29, 2024, a scheduled inspection was carried out at the Moscow Theological Academy by the Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Committee headed by its chairman Archpriest Maxim Kozlov included a deputy chairman Archpriest Valentin Vasechko and specialists N.N. Svoks, I.I. Nikishov, N.V. Leontyev.  

During the inspection, experts took a look at the regulatory documents of the theological school and checked the knowledge of final year undergraduate and graduate students. 

Archpriest Maxim Kozlov met with graduate students of the Academy, discussed their PhD studies and checked the readiness of graduate students' scientific researches.

The Committee attended lessons, assessed students’ general knowledge and inspected the classrooms, living quarters and the MThA library. 

Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, Chairman of the Educational Committee, visited the southern part of the seminary building and got acquainted with the progress of its restoration. On this trip he was accompanied by Hegumen Gerasim (Dyachkov), Deputy Rector of the Academy for Administrative and Economic work.

Archpriest Maxim also held a general meeting with Academy students.
