Advanced training courses for bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church started at the Moscow Theological Academy
On November 13, 2023, advanced training courses for newly installed bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church took place in the Elizabeth Hall of the Moscow Theological Academy.
The series of lessons started with a prayer for St. Sergius of Radonezh in the Trinity Cathedral of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius’s Lavra performed by Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Abbot of the monastery and Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy.
Then, in the Elizabeth Hall of the Academy, the Metropolitan of Voskresensk Gregory, Administrator of the Moscow Patriarchate, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
Course lecturers are heads of Synodal institutions, heads of dioceses, as well as heads and leading employees of various public and government organizations.
