The Academic Council took its regular meeting
On March 11, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Moscow Theological Academy took place in offline and online formats.
At the meeting, they chose Associate Professor Archpriest Oleg Mumrikov as the Head of the Biblical Studies Department.
The Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, announced the state accreditation for a postgraduate course. Associate Professor Hegumen Adrian (Pashin), Head of the Postgraduate Department, noted the changes occurring in the educational process according to the Federal Law and legislative acts of the Russian Federation.
Associate Professor Archpriest Alexander Zadornov, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Theological Work, read a list of requirements for teaching staff of the Academy, who applied for a grant program in Theology provided by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
The Academic Council approved an academic year plan for 2021-2022, amended the Regulations for the final qualifying work and heard reports on implementing earlier recommendations.
