The Academy gathered representatives of Student Councils of Moscow and the Moscow region theological schools

On February 2, 2023, representatives of Student Councils of Moscow and the Moscow Region theological schools gathered at the Moscow Theological Academy to take part in an interuniversity meeting.

The meeting organized by the MThA Student Council was attended by representatives of the General Church Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies named after Sts Cyril and Methodius, the Sretenskaya Theological Academy, the Orthodox St. Tikhon’s Humanitarian University, the Kolomna and Nikolo-Ugresh Theological Seminaries.

The participants discussed a plan for an Orthodox youth forum, which should unite students of theological and secular universities. The forum will become a platform for various educational, cultural and sporting events. Its purpose is to establish links between educational institutions and to study church tradition.

After the meeting, guests were taken on a tour round the Museum of the Moscow Theological Academy.
