The end of the year meeting of the MThA Academic Council

On December 29, the MThA Academic Council gathered in an auditorium №310 for its end of the year meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite announced the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill’s resolution on the results of a competition for the teaching positions at the Moscow Theological Academy.

Then, they heard reports on the scientific and theological work in 2020 and approved a plan for a coming year.

Archpriest Sergiy Maratkanov, Associate Professor, Head of the Distance Learning Department, reported on the final certification of correspondence students.

Then other departments presented and approved their activities for the first half of the 2020/2021 academic year and working plans for the second half of the year. They discussed such important topics as using the national bibliographic database of scientific citation, the principles of working with the Antiplagiat system, the structure of interim reports on Master's and Candidate's dissertations for undergraduates and postgraduates as well as other scientific and educational activities.
