A webinar for educational staff
On September 30, the MThA educational service and the Study Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church held a webinar for educational assistants and individual mentors.
The participants were presented with the results of a psychological study on applicants' behaviour while making decisions of entering a seminary and preparing for entrance exams. Such research was conducted within the framework of a training program for educational assistants and individual mentors. This combination of teaching, research and practice makes it possible to bring the educational process closer to a real state of affairs.
Oleg Suhanov represented the Moscow Theological Academy.
At the webinar, participants got some practical recommendations on working with applicants and first-year students. Special attention was paid to a possibility of implementing such techniques in a context of distant learning.
The webinar gathered at about 100 representatives of theological institutions. It was decided to hold such meetings regularly to exchange experiences and form a community of educators.
В работе вебинара приняли участие 100 представителей семинарий.
Next session is planned within the framework of Christmas readings.
