The Printing House of the Moscow Theological Academy released the 2020 calendar

The Printing House of the Moscow Theological Academy released the 2020 calendar which consists of two parts. There is a monthly list with an indication of church feasts which accompanied by history of an academic church of the Intercession of the Theotokos established 150 years ago.

There are historical facts about the hard destiny of the church at the times of Bolshevik ruling and a difficult but merry period of its renovation. A reader can learn about new martyrs and confessors of the Russian Church who were the Moscow Theological Academy graduates. Also it tells about a role which the church plays in a life of academic teachers, students and monks nowadays as well as about its interior and service traditions.

Each historical period is illustrated by photographs, portraits and archival material which are quite unique and published for the first time.
