The Bishop of Skopinsk and Shatsk Pitirim met with the MThA students

The Bishop of Skopinsk and Shatsk Pitirim met with teachers and students of the Moscow Theological Academy to discuss a topic of pastoral counseling in the modern world.

Bishop Pitirim shared his rich experience of church service in Tajikistan and Russia. He underlined some peculiarities of preaching to young people noting that every Christian is summoned to be Christ’s witnesses. They also touched upon pastoral counseling in military hospitals.

At the end of the meeting, students could ask Bishop Pitirim their questions.
